Does anyone have any tips and hints on this particular model ? I am new to biking after 30 years away from it. The bike is clean and seems to be well looked after. The auto decompression on the kickstart is rather fickle - sometimes works, sometimes not. Also can this model be converted to electric start - has anyone got the necessary components for this ? Should this bike burn much oil - it seems to although the exghaust looks clean and I can't see any significant leaks ?
Is this model much different from the 650 Savage ?
Are there any obvious tuning tips / weaknesses to watch out for.
Any help would be much appreciated - I am enjoying riding the bike although not at the moment having trashed the front disc when I left on the disclock - ouch !
